Since I have interests in organizations I am especially aware of the keynote setting a tone for the year for an organization. I have seen the launch of many significant organizations that have changed the lives of many people and even the course of history.

I was at the launch of the United Democratic Front that successfully campaigned for the unbanning of the ANC and the release of Nelson Mandela. I was in the UDF office on the first day hanging posters on the walls and I was in the office on the last day removing posters, when the UDF volunarily dissolved to make way for the ANC political campiagn to elect Nelson Mandela as President of South Africa. I was also present on the 25th Anniversary celebration when the original keynote Dr. Allan Boesak reprised the UDF launch by calling for a rebirth of the UDF.
